ASHLEY ANN CZECHOWSKI, Honorary Law Student Director, serves on the social media committee. She will be starting her third year of law school at SUNY Buffalo in the fall of 2016. She is a publications editor on the Buffalo Law Review, the editor-in-chief of the Buffalo Intellectual Property Law Journal, and president and founder of the Holistic Law Group. She is also actively involved in other organizations on campus, including the student bar association where she is a class director. She has competed in multiple trial competitions, including the National Ethics Trial Competition where the SUNY Buffalo team advanced to finals. Ms. Czechowski has also competed in multiple moot court competitions, including the Herbert Weschler Moot Court Competition where the SUNY Buffalo team advanced to quarter-finals. She is also a judicial clerk in the Western District of New York during the semester.
Ms. Czechowski was awarded the Diversity Scholarship from the law firm of Harter, Secrest & Emery LLP and interned with the firm in their Rochester office during the summer of her first year of law school. She is currently interning in New York City at the law firm of Pepper Hamilton.
Ms. Czechowski attended SUNY Binghamton for her undergraduate studies and graduated a year early. In addition, she has worked at multiple law offices, including Kloss, Stenger & LoTempio as a head legal assistant and has interned at the Office of the Attorney General in Binghamton.
