CANDACE ALNAJI, Local Director, is an associate attorney with the Law Office of Lindy Korn, PLLC. Candace focuses her practice on pregnancy discrimination and accommodation issues, workplace lactation rights, disability discrimination, and wage and hour law.
Candace graduated cum laude from SUNY Buffalo Law School in 2013. While in attendance, she served as a Law Faculty Research Scholar and as a Legal Writing Fellow. Candace served as Editor-in-Chief and Executive Editor for the Buffalo Public Interest Law Journal and as Articles Editor for the Buffalo Human Rights Law Review. She was also a Student Editor for the New York State Bar Association Elder and Special Needs Law Journal, and worked for one year as a student attorney in the William and Mary Foster Elder Law Clinic. Candace served on the 2010-2011 Student Advisory Board for the Buffalo Human Rights Center and was the Center’s 2011-2012 Student Co-Director.
Candace is admitted to practice in New York, the United States District Court for the Western District of New York, the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Candace proudly co-chairs the WNY WBASNY Working Parents Committee. She is also a proud member of the Erie County Bar Association, Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, Monroe County Bar Association, and the National Employment Lawyers Association.
