ELIZABETH A. KRAENGEL, Immediate Past President, is a partner at Duke, Holzman, Photiadis & Gresens, LLP, where she handles a variety of civil litigation matters, including commercial and construction litigation and first party insurance litigation. She serves on the Women in Construction Steering Committee for the Construction Exchange of Buffalo & WNY, Inc.

Ms. Kraengel obtained her bachelors degree from Northeastern University in Boston, and her juris doctor from SUNY Buffalo Law School. As both an undergraduate and law student, she studied abroad in Spain where she developed a penchant for international travel. She first joined the WBASNY WNY board in 2009 as a local director and held that position until 2012.  Ms. Kraengel served as a WBASNY state delegate from 2012 to 2016, and served as WBASNY WNY’s liaison to SUNY at Buffalo Law School from 2010 to 2014. Ms. Kraengel co-chairs WBASNY’s Committee on Equal Opportunity in the Profession, and is chair of the

WNY Chapter’s Nominations Committee.

In 2015, Ms. Kraengel was elected to serve a three year term on the board of directors for the SUNY at Buffalo Law School Alumni Association and takes an active role in helping shape the next generation of attorneys. She was selected as a Buffalo Business First 40 Under 40 honoree in 2016, and she has been selected to the Upstate New York Super Lawyers list each year since 2013.

Outside of the legal profession, Ms. Kraengel is a proud supporter of The Ride for Roswell, where has been the captain of Team AWESOME for over ten years, and has volunteered as a riding marshal, ambassador and Extra Mile Club committee member.
