Rebecca Bentley, Honorary Law Student Member, is in her first year of law school at the University at Buffalo School of Law. Rebecca graduated from the University at Albany with a bachelor’s degree in political science and criminal justice. She was a member of AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps, and has worked closely with various nonprofit organizations throughout the country. Rebecca is interested in international human rights and has decided to pursue a concentration in international law.
Rebecca currently interns for the Erie County Commission on the Status of Women, and she has received a fellowship from the Buffalo Human Rights Center at the Buffalo School of Law. She is also the Outreach Coordinator for the Domestic Violence Task Force at the Buffalo School of Law. This summer, Rebecca will be volunteering for the Women’s Law Project, a public interest law center in Pennsylvania devoted to the rights of women and girls.
