Tasha E. Moore

TASHA E. MOORE, Local Director, was appointed Regional Director of the Buffalo Office for the New York State Division of Human Rights, in July 2006. The Buffalo Office serves the residents of Erie County, Niagara County, Cattaraugus County, and Chautauqua County.


Ms. Moore is a past president of the Minority Bar Association of WNY, Inc. and serves as the Co-Chair of its Recruitment & Retention Task Force which, in partnership with the University at Buffalo Law School, Millard Fillmore College and Equal Opportunity Center, created the UB Law School Scholars program (funded by the Law School Admissions Counsel). Ms. Moore also serves on the University at Buffalo Law School Dean’s Advisory Committee. She is a past chairperson and current board member on the Buffalo City Ballet Board of Directors.


She has been named in Buffalo Law Journal’s 2008 & 2009 special edition of Who’s Who in the Law, Civil Rights category, by her peers. She has been awarded the 2009 Distinguished Alumni Award by the Students of Color and the 2009 Legal Service Award by the Minority Bar Association of WNY, Inc.


Ms. Moore shares her life with a supportive and loving spouse of twenty years and is the mother of two wonderful and intelligent children.
