Anaiss Rijo-Lelonek, Local Director, is an Associate Court Attorney for the 8th Judicial District’s Supreme and County Court Help Center, where she assists pro-se litigants with various court procedures. She is a former attorney for the Department of Social Services, and also served as an Attorney for Children at Children’s Legal Center.

Anaiss received her Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law, Class of 2016 and is a graduate of CUNY - John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She is an active member and former Treasurer for the Minority Bar Association of WNY and serves on the Board of Directors for the Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP), the Board for Lawyers for Learning, and is a member of the Erie County Bar Association.

Anaiss is New York City native and daughter of immigrants from the Dominican Republic. She made roots in Buffalo after meeting her husband in law school, and they are now parents to a toddler.
