Christina Akers-DiCenzo, Local Director, is passionate about helping employees navigate and solve problems at work so they may live healthy, joyful, and impactful lives. As the founder of Akers-DiCenzo Law PLLC, Christina provides legal counsel and litigation services on behalf of employees facing workplace discrimination and retaliation. Prior to launching her own practice, Christina worked for over eight years representing employees in federal and state courts and administrative agencies on matters involving pregnancy accommodation and discrimination, workplace lactation and breastfeeding rights, parental leave, disability discrimination and workplace accommodation, sexual harassment, and workplace retaliation.   

Christina is a current co-chair of the WBASNY Health and Reproductive Rights Committee, and incoming co-chair of the Working Parents Committee. She is a proud member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association of New York, the Womens Bar Association of Western New York, and the Bar Association of Erie County. 

Christina sits on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of Kadimah. Christina received both her Juris Doctor and Master of Urban Planning from SUNY Buffalo and her Bachelor’s from Brandeis University, where she studied History and Politics.
