Lisa Poch, State Delegate, is an experienced trial lawyer whose practice is focused on representing people who have been seriously injured in motor vehicle accidents, workplace accidents, slip and falls and other mishaps. She has worked at Dan Chiacchia Attorneys (formerly Chiacchia and Fleming) in Hamburg, New York since 2007. Ms. Poch has significant criminal experience as well, trying cases and representing the accused in local, city, and county courts for over a decade. Ms. Poch graduated, with distinction, from the University of Toronto in 2005 and received her Law Degree from the University of Buffalo Law School in 2008. There, she competed on multiple trial teams, representing the law school in competitions across the Country. While at UB, Lisa earned the Robert J. Connelly Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.

Lisa also has a wealth of municipal law experience, previously serving as Town Prosecutor, Town Attorney and Deputy Supervisor for the Town of Hamburg, New York, as well as Town Attorney for the Town of Evans, New York.

Ms. Poch has achieved great success at trial on even the toughest cases, recovering significant sums of money for clients on cases where the insurance company was not willing to offer a penny. She has been selected by Super Lawyers Magazine as either a Rising Star or Super Lawyer for the past ten years, a distinction bestowed on only a select group of attorneys. Lisa is admitted to practice in all the Courts of the State of New York, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. She has argued appeals before the New York State Appellate Division, New York State Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She has also handled matters before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and New York State Division of Human Rights.

Lisa is a proud member of the Western Region Affiliate of The New York Trial Lawyers’ Association, currently serving as president-elect.

Lisa and her husband, Jason, reside in Hamburg with their three children. They enjoy traveling, volunteering, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills and Sabres!
